My wife gave birth on Thursday to our beautiful baby girl. She requested a steak tonight for our first night home, so I made her a tomahawk - duh. She hasn’t been able to eat red meat the entire pregnancy and she said it was the best steak she has ever had. If you’re looking for some of the best grass finished beef in the country, check out High Cotton Cattle Co. in Kelso, TN. An old friend of mine, Rocky Hendrickson, and his son, Connor, run the operation. I got a quarter of beef from them about 4 months ago and it is absolutely the best tasting you will ever eat. Rocky lived in Portland, TN and some of you will probably know him... It’s worth the drive to Kelso to get a quarter, half, or even a whole beef!
